Without a Prescription

Interactions

Do not take Asacol with any of the following drugs:

- Certain diabetes medications;
- Glipizide;
- Heparin;
- Meglitinides;
- Methotrexate;
- Nateglinide;
- Probenecid;
- Sulfonylureas;
- Tolbutamide;
- Warfarin;

Asacol derivative increases the toxicity of thiopurine:
- Thioguanine;
- Mercaptopurine;
- Azathioprine;

Side Effects

- Diarrhea;
